Our craftsmen build all wood garage doors with beveled trim board under the lite sections, interior vent holes, integrated drip caps, and horizontal cap board seals that seal off the end grain of the tongue and groove surface material—everything your custom garage door needs to protect against water damage.
CAMBEK Hurricane Garage Doors are designed with impact rated glass glazing. Each piece of impact-resistant glass is designed to withstand flying debris and strong winds. Every window is held firmly in place by a bead of sealant and features a wet-glazed surface, keeping air and water out of the garage space and preventing it from seeping into and degrading the interior of the door.
CAMBEK’s three-coat penetrating stain finish is extremely flexible and will not crack, flake, chalk, blister, or lift from wood substrate when applied. It provides heavy protection and allows the wood to breathe while withstanding direct exposure to rain, snow, sunlight, and moisture. Our finishes also provide superior UV resistance and long-term color stability.
Galvanized steel tracks and custom hardware can be powder coated to protect against the high humidity and salty environments of coastal states. Cast aluminum and powder-coated decorative hardware creates the authentic appearance of wrought iron hardware while reducing weight, increasing resistance to natural elements, and reducing the noise created by door operation.
CAMBEK doors are engineered to withstand wind speeds of up to 150 mph. They exceed the requirements of the most stringent and nationally recognized protocols and standards, including the Notice of Acceptance in Miami-Dade and Broward County and the Florida Building Code product approval.
